Wooden Bowls

This story was a heartfelt story. It was all about how we should respect our elders and not make them feel like an outcast. Sure, at times it's ok to not want to be with someone, but you should never outcast someone you love. This story is related to CARES with two things, assertion and empathy. I say assertion because the young boy even though he's only 4, can see what the parents were doing was wrong and decided to do something about it. This then lead to empathy because the young boy put himself, and his parents in the grandfathers shoes and made them see that what they were doing to him was cruel and unfair.
