Bullying

Everyone who wants to put an end to bullying wants to stop it very much, but are too afraid of getting pulled into the mix of being bullied. Therefore, the risk of being bullied outweighs the benefits of trying to shut down the bully. So in relation to The Lord of the Flies, Ralph thinks that Jack is completely wrong in bullying Piggy, but is too afraid that Jack will come after him too if he tries to go against him.
